The T34 weighing assembly Silo Mount is a load cell\/weighing module combination that provides a legal-for-trade weighing solution<\/strong> for silos, tanks and vessels up to 60,000kg<\/strong> per load cell, especially in remote locations where the risk of lightning strikes<\/strong> is significant. \u00a0For non-legal-for-trade applications this\u00a0model is\u00a0model is available up to 1,000,000kg (1000 tonnes)<\/strong> per load cell.<\/p>\n

The T34 weighing assembly\u00a0stainless steel<\/strong> load cell is a compression canister<\/strong> with a\u00a0self-centring rocker column <\/strong>design.\u00a0 Its fully welded<\/strong> and\u00a0hermetically sealed<\/strong> construction provides protection toIP68\/IP69K<\/strong>, with integral lighting protection<\/strong> as standard.\u00a0 It has OIML C4<\/strong> and NTEP Class IIIL<\/strong> approvals to 60,000kg.\u00a0 Excellent accuracy and repeatability is assured.<\/p>\n

For applications in hazardous <\/strong>areas, the T34 weighing assembly load cell has ATEX<\/strong>approval for all zones.\u00a0 Its special certification allows use in dust zones 20, 21, 22 and gas zone 2<\/strong> with no need<\/strong> for safety\u00a0barriers<\/strong> \u2013 which saves <\/strong>our customers a large sum<\/strong> of money.<\/p>\n

The associated zinc plated steel mounting accessory<\/strong> is fitted with\u00a0integral lift-off prevention check rods<\/strong>, as well as a retention arm to absorb horizontal forces<\/strong> that are typically generated by wind\u00a0<\/strong>loading on large silos.\u00a0 Expansion\/contraction of the silo structure is accommodated by the rocker pin design of the T34 weighing assembly load cell, which\u00a0allows for movement<\/strong> in the direction transverse to the retention arm.<\/p>\n

The mounting accessory\u00a0and load cell are supplied assembled together, for simpler installation<\/strong>.\u00a0 The load cell is protected from shock loads <\/strong>by a transport plate that is removed on installation.\u00a0 An earth cable<\/strong> is supplied as standard, to prevent any damage to the load cell from welding after installation.<\/p>\n

The T34 weighing assembly\u00a0load cell has a polyurethane cable<\/strong> as standard, which provides greater resistance<\/strong> to UV radiation, temperature changes and impacts\/cuts than PVC cable.<\/p>\n

For use in aggressive environments<\/strong> where stress corrosion or acid attack is a potential problem, a special Parylene coating<\/strong> can be specified as an option.\u00a0 In high temperature environments, an optional variant for use up to 150\u00b0C<\/strong> is available.<\/p>\n
